This is not investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. Trading futures involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Read this page together with our Terms of Service and Copy-Trading Disclosure before connecting a brokerage or prop-firm account or following a Leader.
Futures and derivatives trading carries a high degree of risk and is not appropriate for every person. You can lose more than the funds you deposit to trade. Leverage can work against you as well as for you, and a small market move can produce a large loss. Only trade with risk capital — money you can afford to lose without affecting your financial security. Ironmark does not know your financial circumstances and does not evaluate whether trading, or using any part of the Service, is appropriate for you.
Ironmark is not an indicator vendor and does not merely display charts or alerts. When you enable copying or automated execution (Terms §8), Ironmark’s software connects to the brokerage or prop-firm account you choose, using credentials that stay on your own device, and places, modifies, and cancels real orders on that account according to the configuration you set — including, if you choose, orders generated from a Leader’s published signals. Ironmark exercises no discretion over your account: every order reflects the configuration you selected, not a decision Ironmark makes for you. But make no mistake — the software does reach the account, and automated execution can act quickly, at scale, and while you are away from your screen, which can amplify losses.
Following a Leader means someone else’s trading decisions can generate real orders in your account. Copying does not reduce risk and can increase it — a Leader may trade with leverage, frequency, or a style that is not suitable for you, and may change, pause, or stop trading at any time without notice. Ironmark does not vet, endorse, or supervise Leaders, does not verify their skill or intentions, and does not guarantee that a Leader will keep trading or that you can exit at the same time or price as anyone else following the same strategy. See our Copy-Trading Disclosure for more detail, including how Leaders may be compensated.
Differences commonly come from:
Track records, verified statistics, leaderboards, and share cards on Ironmark are, unless labeled otherwise, compiled from real fills reported by connected brokerage or prop-firm accounts — not from a backtest or a simulation. Real, realized results are not free of the limitations below just because they are real:
Where Ironmark shows hypothetical, simulated, or backtested results (for example, in strategy-building or indicator tools), those results do not represent actual trading and have important limitations. Such results will be labeled as hypothetical and accompanied by a statement substantially similar to the following:
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, because the trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
Any testimonial, share card, or leaderboard placement reflects one member’s individual experience, is not representative of other members’ results, and is not a guarantee of future performance. Leaderboard rankings do not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Ironmark and may not reflect every account that followed a given strategy, including accounts that lost money or stopped following.
Many accounts connected to Ironmark are prop-firm evaluation or funded accounts (for example, on TopstepX/ProjectX). These accounts carry rules on automation, copy trading, position size, drawdown, and hold times that are set by the prop firm, not by Ironmark. Ironmark is not affiliated with, and does not represent that its Service complies with the rules of, any particular prop firm. You are responsible for knowing and following your broker’s, platform’s, and prop firm’s rules, and for the consequences — including loss of an evaluation, funded status, or a payout — if your configuration violates them, even where the order was placed automatically through Ironmark.
Ironmark depends on your device, network, and third-party broker and prop-firm systems. Outages, latency, data errors, software defects, or changes to a broker’s API can cause orders to be delayed, missed, duplicated, or placed differently than you intended. Ironmark does not guarantee continuous or error-free operation, that any order or protective control (such as a stop) will reach the broker or be accepted, or that account data shown in the app is complete or current at every moment. Keep independent access to your broker’s own platform so you can monitor and, if necessary, manually manage or flatten a position if Ironmark or your connection is unavailable.
Ironmark is a software provider. Nothing on this site or in the app — including anything published by a Leader — is investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any instrument. Ironmark is not a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, commodity pool operator, or account manager, does not hold or custody your funds, and does not have a fiduciary duty to you. Consult your own qualified professional advisers about whether futures trading, copy trading, or a particular strategy is appropriate for you.
